Comprehensive care for your whole self

At Reflective Soul, we focus on supporting your health through thoughtful, evidence-informed care that considers the whole person. Our naturopathic approach combines current research with clinical experience to understand the underlying factors affecting your health. By considering lifestyle, nutrition, physiology, and environment together, we work with you to develop practical, personalized strategies that support long-term well-being.

Naturopathic medicine and acupuncture are woven into the fabric of how we care for our clients here. Because mental health is at the centre of everything we do, we understand that stress, anxiety, hormonal shifts, and emotional well-being don’t just affect the mind. They show up in the body too, in fatigue, pain, disrupted sleep, and a nervous system that struggles to settle. Addressing that physical dimension is part of how we support the whole person.

Meet our naturopathic doctor

Our naturopathic doctor brings a thoughtful, evidence-informed approach to care, with a particular focus on stress, depression, anxiety, metabolic health, pain management, hormonal health, and the deep connection between physical and mental well-being. She takes the time to truly understand your full health picture and builds you a plan that is practical, personalized, and grounded in your goals.

As part of the Reflective Soul team, she works alongside our counsellors, which means your care can be connected and coordinated across disciplines when that serves you best.

    What is Naturopathic Medicine?

Naturopathic medicine is a whole-person approach to health care that combines modern scientific understanding with natural and supportive therapies. Rather than focusing on isolated symptoms, your naturopathic doctor looks at the full picture of your health, including your lifestyle, hormones, nutrition, sleep, stress, and the relationship between your physical and emotional well-being.

Your first appointment typically lasts between 60-90 minutes. We take the time to really understand what is going on in your life, not just your symptoms. From there, we build a treatment plan tailored specifically to you. That plan might include nutrition guidance, herbal medicine, supplementation, acupuncture, lifestyle support, or collaboration with other practitioners.

We believe in treating the underlying causes of health concerns when it is in your best interest, while also working to provide meaningful relief along the way.

What Naturopathic Care at Reflective Soul includes

  • Comprehensive Health Assessment

Your first appointment is a thorough, unhurried conversation about your health history, current symptoms, lifestyle, and goals. Most clients tell us it is the most complete health conversation they have ever had, and it is the foundation on which your treatment plan is built on.

  • Laboratory Assessment

Our Naturopathic Doctor will requisition testing if lab tests will be helpful for determining a diagnosis or treatment course. Private lab work is typically completed at a local Dyna location. Patients are never pressured to complete lab work and our naturopathic doctor does not take commission on requisitioned tests.

  • Nutrition and Lifestyle Guidance

What you eat, how you sleep, how you move, and how you manage your daily stress all have a profound effect on how you feel. We offer practical, flexible guidance that fits your real life, not rigid protocols that are hard to maintain.

  • Herbal Medicine and Supplementation

Where appropriate, herbal medicine or targeted supplementation may be part of your care plan. Every recommendation is individualized and chosen based on your specific health picture and goals.

  • Acupuncture

Acupuncture is offered as part of naturopathic care at Reflective Soul, integrated into your plan when it is the right fit for what you are working on. Because the same practitioner who knows your full health history is also delivering your acupuncture treatment, your sessions are always informed by the bigger picture of your care.

Acupuncture can support pain relief, nervous system regulation, hormonal health, sleep, digestion, and more. We offer traditional, electro, and evidence-based approaches depending on your needs and goals.

  • Integrative Care Coordination

One of the things we are most proud of at Reflective Soul is that your naturopathic doctor can genuinely collaborate with our counsellors, when your care calls for it, with your consent. That kind of connected, whole-person support is rare, and we think it makes a real difference.

Acupuncture as part of whole-person care

At Reflective Soul, mental health is at the centre of everything we do, and acupuncture fits naturally within that vision. Stress, anxiety, hormonal shifts, and trauma do not just affect the mind. They live in the body too, in tension, pain, disrupted sleep, and a nervous system that cannot fully settle. Acupuncture is one of the ways we support that physical dimension of mental and emotional health.

Frequently asked questions

Your first visit is a detailed, unhurried conversation, typically 60 to 90 minutes, covering your health history, current concerns, lifestyle, and goals. Your naturopath will then recommend a personalized plan that may include nutrition guidance, herbal medicine, supplements, acupuncture, and other forms of lifestyle medicine. Follow-up appointments track your progress and adjust your plan as needed.

Most people are pleasantly surprised by how gentle it is. Acupuncture needles are extremely fine and insertion is usually felt as a very mild sensation, if at all. Most clients find the experience deeply relaxing.

Neither is covered by BC’s Medical Services Plan, but many extended health benefit plans include coverage for both. Coverage rules vary, so we recommend checking with your provider directly. We are happy to provide receipts for insurance purposes and offer direct billing through many insurance providers.

Absolutely, and this is one of the things that makes Reflective Soul genuinely different. Our naturopathic doctor works alongside our counsellors, so your care can be coordinated rather than siloed across providers who never talk to each other. Consent for such collaboration is required.

Yes. Many naturopathic services are available online for clients across BC. Acupuncture is in-person only, available at our Kelowna clinic at 200-2000 Spall Road.
